Groes Faen Bach
Groes Faen Bach is a big stone farmhouse, on a working farm in Mynydd Llan, Flintshire. It's attached to the main farm buildings. It sleeps fifteen, in seven bedrooms, with six bathrooms.
It's new-build, but done in a traditional style. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's very well finished. Everything feels solid and works properly.
The main thing is the space. The kitchen and dining area is huge. It's where everyone ends up. You can cook in there without feeling like you're shut away from people. There are other rooms too, so if someone wants a bit of quiet, they can find it.
Being a farm, you'll see sheep and hear the usual farm noises sometimes. There's an enclosed garden for you to use. Parking is on site.
For facilities, it's got everything a large group would need: dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TVs. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair. One of the bathrooms is a wet room on the ground floor.
The location is good for getting to places. You're about twenty minutes from the coast. Chester is about half an hour's drive. The North Wales resorts like Llandudno, and the castles like Conwy, are within thirty to forty-five minutes. For walking, the Clwydian Range is right on your doorstep.
