Fir Tree Lodge is a wooden cabin on our farm in Glascoed. It’s one of two cabins there. It's detached, so you’re on your own.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and a bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating. It’s comfortable. Everything's on one level which is handy. The decking outside is enclosed, so it’s safe for a dog or kids. You get your own hot tub out there too.
It’s a working farm, so you’ll see horses and sheep. You can bring your own horse if you want, there’s a ménage right next to the cabins. We allow one dog.
The local shop and a pub that does food are about a mile away, in the village. The coast, like Pensarn beach, is about five miles. It’s a good, sandy beach.
You’re well placed for getting about. Conwy town and castle are about twenty minutes’ drive. Llandudno is maybe twenty-five minutes. The National Trust has a few places nearby, like Bodnant Garden. For walking, Snowdonia National Park is about half an hour inland.
In terms of what’s there: it’s got a wood burner, a TV, WiFi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There’s parking right outside. We provide a BBQ.
