Stable Barn is here on the farm in Betws yn Rhos. It's one of four cottages converted from the old farm buildings. You're looking out over about 40 acres of our land. It's quiet.
It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms so there's a bit of space. It's got a 4 Star rating. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings and the patio gets the sun. The hot tub is private, just for you.
The stairs are open-tread, like a ladder. Fine for most, but something to know if you have little ones or mobility issues. We provide a stairgate and a cot.
You've got the basics covered: WiFi, dishwasher, washing machine, parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included.
The village is a mile away. There's a shop and a pub that does food. For a bigger shop, Colwyn Bay is about seven miles. The beach there is sandy and good for families. Llandudno is under ten miles. It's a proper Victorian seaside town with a pier and a cable car up the Great Orme.
If you're here for walking or outdoors, you're in a good spot. We're on the edge of Snowdonia. Betws-y-Coed is about a 20 minute drive. That's the main hub for activities like climbing or high ropes. Swallow Falls is there too. Conwy, with its castle and town walls, is about 25 minutes away. It's a World Heritage site. For gardens, Bodnant Garden is spectacular and about half an hour's drive.
Further out, you can get to Chester in around 40 minutes for shopping or the zoo. Anglesey and Caernarfon Castle are also within an hour.
No pets, I'm afraid.
