Smithy Barn
Smithy Barn is one of four cottages here on the farm. It's in Betws yn Rhos, which is a quiet village inland. You're surrounded by about 40 acres of fields. It's peaceful.
The barn sleeps four. There are three bedrooms and each one has its own bathroom, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's a modern conversion, so it's warm and things work properly.
Inside, it's open plan downstairs with the kitchen and living area. There's a wood burner for the evenings. The garden is enclosed and private, and there's a hot tub out there. Parking is right outside.
For facilities, it's got the washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, all the bedding and towels. We can put a cot and highchair in if you need them. No pets, sorry.
The local pub and a village shop are about a mile away in Betws yn Rhos. For a bigger shop, Colwyn Bay is about seven miles. The beach at Colwyn Bay is sandy and good for families. Llandudno with its pier and the tramway up the Great Orme is under ten miles.
If you're walking, you're on the edge of Snowdonia. Betws-y-Coed is about a 20 minute drive for that proper mountain scenery and outdoor stuff. Conwy, with its castle and town walls, is about 15 minutes in the other direction. It's a World Heritage Site.
