The Stables is in Betws yn Rhos. It's a detached stone building that used to be part of the vicarage next door. It's just for two people.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well-equipped. There's one bedroom with the bathroom right next to it, basically en-suite. The bed is a king size.
The living area is all one room, which I like. It feels spacious for a couple. You've got a sofa, a TV, a dining table, and the kitchen is along one wall. There's a washing machine, Wi-Fi, and heating's included.
Outside, there's a private garden that's fully enclosed. It's lawned with a patio and some furniture. There's a barbecue you can use. You can park right outside.
The location is very straightforward. You're right in the village. The pub is literally across the road, about twenty yards. It's a 16th century inn. The village shop is about thirty yards away. They both do the job.
You can bring dogs. Up to three. The garden being enclosed is helpful for that.
If you want to explore, you can drive to several beaches in under fifteen minutes. Old Colwyn and Abergele sands are the nearest. Llandudno is a classic Victorian seaside town, about a twenty minute drive. Conwy with its castle is about the same. The Welsh Mountain Zoo is in Colwyn Bay, roughly fifteen minutes away.
For walking, you're on the edge of the Clwydian Range. It's good country. The coast path is a short drive away too. If you fancy a city day, Chester is about forty-five minutes by car.
You'll find bedding and towels are provided. We can put a cot or a highchair in if you need one. There's also storage if you bring bikes.
