Dolfran Bach
Dolfran Bach is a detached cottage on our property, here in Dolwen. It's next to our house, but completely separate. You'll have your own garden and patio area, which gets the sun in the afternoon. You can sit out there.
It's all on one level, which is good. Two bedrooms, sleeps four. One bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable. Everything works.
The kitchen and living area are open plan. There's a separate dining room with French doors that look out onto the garden. The view is fields. It's quiet.
We're in a rural spot. The nearest proper shop is about a mile and a half away in the village. There's a restaurant half a mile down the road. For a pub, you're looking at two and a half miles.
The coast is four miles away. You can get to Old Colwyn or Rhos-on-Sea fairly quickly. Llandudno and the Great Orme are about twenty minutes by car. Conwy, with the castle and the walls, is maybe fifteen minutes. It's a good base for getting around.
If you want activity places, Surf Snowdonia is in the Conwy Valley. Zip World Fforest in Betws-y-Coed has the treetop nets and the coaster ride. The Welsh Mountain Zoo in Colwyn Bay is popular.
Facilities: there's parking right outside the cottage. The garden is enclosed. WiFi, TV, washing machine. Bedding and towels are provided. There's a bike storage shed if you need it. Sorry, no pets.
