Little Barn
Little Barn is a stone cottage on our farm outside Betws yn Rhos. It's detached and it's just for two people. There are three other holiday lets here too, but they're all separate.
It has a four star rating. It's been done up inside. There's a wood burning stove downstairs. The stairs to the bedroom are a spiral staircase, which is quite tight. The bedroom is a good size once you're up there.
You're on a working farm here, so there are fields all around. You get your own parking spot and a private hot tub outside. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher.
The village is about a mile away. There's a shop there and a pub that does food. For a bigger shop or a proper beach, Colwyn Bay is about seven miles. Llandudno and its pier are under ten miles. I like Bodnant Garden, which is well worth a visit.
You're in a good spot for getting out. Snowdonia is about a 30 minute drive. Conwy, with its castle and walls, is maybe 20 minutes. Chester is around 40 minutes if you fancy a day out that way. There's good walking from the door and lots of bike trails nearby if you have them.
