Scarlett Lodge is a bit outside the village of Llysfaen, on a small sheep farm. It's detached and sits by itself, so it's quiet. The views are good, just fields and hills.
It sleeps six people in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard. It's all on one level, so the entrance and doorways are wheelchair accessible.
Inside, it's mostly one big open room with the kitchen, dining and living area together. There are large windows so you can see the view from inside. There's a wood burning stove for cooler evenings. There's a deck outside with a garden beyond it.
You're in the countryside, but it's not remote. Shops and a couple of pubs are about two miles away in Old Colwyn or Llanddulas. The coast is the same distance, so you can walk down to the beach or the Wales Coast Path.
Llandudno is about ten minutes by car. It's a proper seaside town with a pier and a long promenade. Conwy is about twenty minutes away. The castle there is impressive. The National Trust's Bodnant Garden is about a twenty-five minute drive inland. For a bigger walk, you're close to the edge of the Snowdonia National Park.
The lodge has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. No pets, I'm afraid.
