Bryn Euryn Cottage
Bryn Euryn Cottage is in Colwyn Bay. It's a 400 year old house, whitewashed, semi-detached. It's next to where I live. The beach is about half a mile down the road.
It sleeps seven. Four bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got the 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well-equipped. It's old. There are stone walls and beams. The stairs are steep. Two of the bedrooms have a view of the sea.
The Bryn Euryn Nature Reserve is right opposite the house. You get good views of the Little Orme and the coast from there. There's an American diner about three minutes walk away, which is handy. Shops and other pubs and restaurants are about half a mile.
Llandudno is a short drive. The Great Orme is there, you can drive up or take the tram. The view from the top is worth it. The Welsh Mountain Zoo is in Colwyn Bay itself. There are golf courses nearby.
For days out, Conwy town and its castle are about 20 minutes by car. The National Trust looks after a few places round here. Snowdonia is less than half an hour's drive if you want proper mountains.
Facilities: It's got a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, washing machine, and a BBQ. There's a garden. Parking is on site. Bedding and towels are included. We have a cot, highchair and stairgate if you need them. We take pets, up to three.
