The View - Yr Olygfa
The View, Yr Olygfa, is in Llansanffraid Glan Conwy. It’s right on the edge of the Conwy estuary. The main thing is the view. It looks out over the water, the RSPB reserve, and you can see Conwy Castle in the distance.
It’s a three-storey house. Sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both are king-size beds, but one downstairs can be made into twins if you ask beforehand. Each floor has its own bathroom or shower room, which is handy.
The living area is on the middle floor. It’s all open plan, with doors out to a balcony. You’ll probably spend most of your time there looking at the water. There’s an electric fire for cooler nights. The kitchen is fine for cooking meals.
It’s got a 5 Star rating. That means it’s well-equipped and in good order. The stairs are a typical three-floor layout, so there are a few of them.
Location wise, Conwy town with its walls and castle is about a five-minute drive. Llandudno’s promenade is about ten minutes the other way. For walks or climbing, Snowdonia is maybe twenty minutes’ drive inland.
