Oakleigh Cottage is in Rowen, up in the Conwy Valley. It's about four miles inland from the coast, right on the edge of Snowdonia. The setting is quiet and feels quite tucked away.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms, and both have their own bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It’s comfortable and well-fitted rather than old-fashioned.
You get your own patio. The garden itself is shared, as part of the grounds. The grounds are quite big, about six acres. There’s a water garden centre and some fishing ponds on site. There’s also a Dutch pancake house with a licence, which is unusual.
Conwy town is four miles away. The castle is very good. There are shops and places to eat there. For a beach, Morfa Conwy is sandy and close by. Llandudno is a bit further along the coast.
You're well placed for Snowdonia here. Walking and climbing are on the doorstep. You can drive to places like Betws-y-Coed and over the mountain passes quite easily. Zip World is nearby, with its zip wires and other activities.
For facilities, it has a woodburning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on site. No pets, sorry.
