Tyn Y Coed Farm House is in Pentrefelin, near Conwy. It's a detached farmhouse from the 1700s. The place sleeps six across three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. You can bring two dogs.
The house is on a good sized plot with its own garden and it backs onto fields. There's a path from the garden that leads straight into the woods and along the estuary. The views from the back of the house look over towards Snowdonia.
Inside, it's been done up but they kept the old bits. Slate floors, timber beams, that sort of thing. There's a big inglenook fireplace with a wood burner in the living room. The kitchen has an Aga alongside the normal modern appliances. The dining room has patio doors that open onto a south-facing terrace with a bench and a barbecue.
The stairs are wooden and a bit uneven, as you'd expect. The bathroom has an oak-panelled bath. The master bedroom has a super king bed. The other two are doubles. One of them is quite a small double, fine for two but cosy.
Facilities are all there: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. The entrance and ground floor are wheelchair accessible.
Location wise, it's about five miles to the nearest beach. Conwy town and its castle are a short drive. Llandudno and its pier are about twenty minutes away. For a big day out, National Trust Conwy has several properties nearby, and Snowdonia National Park is right there for walking. Bodnant Food Centre is close if you want local produce.
If you're after activities, you've got golf, horse riding locally, or more active things like zip lines over in Bethesda, all within half an hour.
