Capel Y Ffynnon

This place is Capel Y Ffynnon, which means 'Chapel of the Spring'. It's just outside Bryn Pydew, near Conwy. It used to be a chapel. You can see bits of that in the big arched windows.

It's detached, so no neighbours sharing walls. It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. The layout is upside down. The bedrooms and bathrooms are on the ground floor, which is handy if stairs are a problem for someone. The main living area and kitchen are upstairs. The stairs are normal.

One of the first floor bedrooms has a distant view of the sea. The main living space is up there too, with those big windows looking out over the fields. It's bright.

The kitchen has an island with a breakfast bar. There's an electric oven, induction hob, washer-dryer, and fridge-freezer. Towels and bedding are included.

Outside, there's a small patio with a table and chairs. You can park two cars on the drive.

It's a short drive to Llandudno, maybe ten minutes. You've got the promenade, pier, and the usual high street shops and cafes there. The beach is about two and a half miles away.

You're in a good spot for getting about. Conwy town and its castle are close. Snowdonia is about a thirty minute drive for walks or going up Snowdon. For a day out, you've got the Welsh Mountain Zoo nearby, or Gwrych Castle a bit further along the coast. Betws-y-Coed in the Conwy Valley is nice for a wander and has a waterfall.

A few practical things: it has WiFi and a TV. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. The entrance and ground floor are wheelchair accessible. No pets, sorry.

For planning, the Visit Wales and Snowdonia National Park websites are useful.
