Sea View Cottage
This is Sea View Cottage in Colwyn Bay. It's a detached house, so you're on your own. You get the whole garden. It faces the sea, so you can see it from the front windows. It's about a minute's walk to the beach.
It sleeps eight, but that's with three bedrooms. There's a kingsize bed, a double, and a room with two sets of bunk beds. So it's good for families or a couple of families sharing. There's one bathroom and a separate toilet upstairs.
It's a 3 Star place. Everything you need is there and it's clean, but it's not a luxury show home. It has the basics: a kitchen with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine. There's a TV and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included.
The local pub and a few restaurants are a minute down the road. There's a cycle path that runs right past the house. You can follow it along the coast to Llandudno one way or towards Rhyl the other.
Colwyn Bay is close by for shops. The Welsh Mountain Zoo is a short drive away. Llandudno is a proper Victorian seaside town, about ten minutes in the car. For a bigger day out, Snowdonia National Park is less than an hour's drive. Conwy Castle isn't far either, that's run by Cadw.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking on site. The stairs are normal, nothing too steep. It's available over Christmas if you want that.
