Watkin Cottage
This is Watkin Cottage. It's in the old part of Conwy, inside the castle walls. It's a small stone cottage, one of a few. You can walk into the town centre from here, everything is close.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and has what you need, but it's not grand. The stairs are narrow and steep, like in most old cottages.
There's a shop and a couple of pubs about 200 yards away. The train station is two minutes' walk. You really don't need the car if you don't want it.
The harbour is just down the hill. The castle is right there. You can spend a day just wandering around the walls.
Llandudno is about four miles along the coast. You've got the pier, the promenade, the Great Orme. Good for a day out.
Snowdonia is on the doorstep. You can drive to Betws-y-Coed in about twenty minutes. Capel Curig and Llanberis are within half an hour for walking. The beaches are a short drive, like around Abergele.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, Wi-Fi, a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets allowed, sorry.
