Watkin Cottage is in Conwy, inside the castle walls. It's a stone cottage from the 1800s, built for fishermen originally. Sleeps four, two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and functional rather than luxurious.
The cottage is on a quiet little close. The stairs are steep, in that way old cottage stairs are. There's a shop and a pub about a two-minute walk away. The train and bus station is just up the road too, so you could manage without a car.
You can walk to everything in Conwy. The castle, the harbour, the shops and cafes. It's all right there. The town has World Heritage status. For a beach day, it's about two miles to the nearest one, but there are plenty others a short drive away.
Llandudno is four miles. Nice pier, the Great Orme, all that. Bodnant Garden is a famous one, about a 20-minute drive. National Trust Bodnant Garden. The Snowdonia National Park authority site is good for planning walks. Betws-y-Coed and Capel Curig are well under an hour away for walking or climbing.
Inside, there's a washing machine, a TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry. There's a shower, no bath.
