Minafon

Minafon is in Capelulo, just outside Conwy. It's a single-storey bungalow, detached, down a very narrow lane. You'd need to take it slow driving down. The garden is enclosed and private, which is nice.

It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-finished. There's underfloor heating and a wood burner. The main space is open plan, so it's all one room really, but it's light.

The lane is too narrow for passing, but there's parking right at the cottage.

You're right on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. You can walk straight from the door up into the hills. The local pub and a restaurant are about a quarter of a mile walk back up the lane.

Conwy is a ten minute drive. The castle and walls are there, and it's a proper old town to wander around. Llandudno is about twenty minutes. Two beaches, the Great Orme, and the tramway up it.

Betws-y-Coed is maybe half an hour inland if you want to go deeper into Snowdonia. Anglesey is about the same drive the other way for beaches.

Facilities: there's a washing machine, TV, WiFi, and a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
