Blodfryn
Blodfryn is our place in Bryn Pydew. It's detached, so no neighbours on the other side of the wall. You'll probably drive past it first, it's up a track off the lane. The views from the upstairs living room are good, you can see the sea from there.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms downstairs, two kings and a super king that can be two twins. One shower room down there too. It's a 5 Star place, which just means it's well finished and has everything you'd need. The layout is reverse-level, so you live upstairs and sleep downstairs.
The kitchen is modern and has a dishwasher and washing machine. Patio doors open onto a raised deck with seating. It's a sunny spot. We've put speakers throughout the house, you connect to them with your phone. There's a Smart TV and some board games.
You can bring one dog. There are walks straight from the door into the fields. The nearest pub with food is about a mile away in Pydew.
You're close to a lot from here. Rhos-on-Sea promenade is under ten minutes in the car. Llandudno and Colwyn Bay are about fifteen minutes. Conwy with the castle is maybe twenty minutes. If you want mountains, you can be at the foot of the Carneddau or in the Conwy Valley in under half an hour.
For days out, National Trust Wales has local places like Bodnant Garden. Visit Conwy is useful for the town and castle. Snowdonia National Park is the authority for the mountains.
Facilities are all included: bedding, towels, wifi, parking. There's a cot if you need it.
