Derwas
This place is called Derwas. It's a detached house in Dolwen, near Colwyn Bay. It sleeps up to eleven people. Five bedrooms, three bathrooms.
It's a big, comfortable house. The kitchen, dining area, and main living space are all open plan, so it's good if you're a group. There are two other sitting rooms too, if people want to spread out. One of them leads into a conservatory that looks out over the fields.
The gardens are decent sized. There's a terrace with some outdoor furniture.
It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything's included like bedding, towels, WiFi. There's parking on site. It takes two dogs.
For places to eat, there are a couple of pubs nearby in Llanelian and Betws-Yn-Rhos. One of them in Llanelian gets good reviews for food. Colwyn Bay has more options, like Bryn Williams and Pen-y-Bryn.
You're about four miles from the beach at Colwyn Bay. For walking, you're close to the Clwydian Range and not far from Snowdonia. Snowdonia National Park is about a half hour drive. Conwy and its castle are about twenty minutes away. The Bodnant Garden is roughly the same. Llandudno is about twenty minutes in the car as well.
Gwrych Castle is very close, just outside Abergele. They filmed 'I'm a Celebrity' there a few years back.
