Manor House Farm Cottage

Manor House Farm Cottage is on our working farm just outside Langdale End. It's one of a pair of cottages we converted from old stone barns.

The house sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both doubles, and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating so things are in good order. You should know the stairs to the first floor are steep. Cottage stairs really.

You come in through the front door into the kitchen, which has a table. Through there is the living room with an electric stove. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor with its own shower room. It has French doors out to the back garden. The other bedroom is upstairs with an en-suite. Both are a decent size.

There's a garden at the front that's enclosed. At the back there's a patio and then a long lawn. You're welcome to use it. Parking is on the gravel drive.

It's very dark here at night. On a clear night you can see the stars properly. It's quiet. The nearest pub is a couple of miles away in Hackness.

You're right on the edge of the North York Moors. You can walk straight from the door onto the footpaths. It's about half an hour's drive to the coast at Scarborough or Whitby. Robin Hood's Bay is a bit further. Dalby Forest is good for cycling if you've brought bikes.

We allow up to two dogs. There's bicycle storage if you need it. All the bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher.
