Oxnead Hall is a large house in Brampton, Norfolk. It sleeps twenty people. There are ten bedrooms and ten bathrooms. It's a 5 Star property, which means it's finished to a high standard.
The house is detached and set in fifteen acres of its own land. There's a private lake. The grounds are shared when events are on, but that's not very often. The garden is formal and landscaped, so dogs need to be kept on a lead.
Inside, the house is historic and decorated accordingly. The dining room is large, with original stone floors, and opens onto a courtyard. The kitchen is a proper size for a group, with a big range cooker. There's a main living room with an open fire and a smaller snug for a quieter space.
The bedrooms are all different. One has a four-poster bed and a big en-suite with a freestanding bath. Others have views over the gardens or the church next door. They're all furnished to a good standard.
You're about four miles from Aylsham, which has shops and pubs. The Bure Valley Steam Railway is nearby, which is a nice trip to Wroxham or Aylsham. The coast, including Cromer and Mundesley, is about a thirty minute drive. Norwich city centre is roughly twenty-five minutes by car.
For facilities: all bedding and towels are included, there's wifi, plenty of parking, a washing machine, dishwasher, and cots and highchairs are available. We allow up to two dogs.
