Woodland View

Woodland View is in Hastings, on a road called Shepherd's Hill just back from the seafront. It's a 1930s semi-detached house on a quiet street.

There are three bedrooms. One has a double bed, one has a double bed, and the third has a single bed. So it sleeps five, but it's probably best for a family. There's one bathroom with a shower over the bath. The place has a 4 Star rating. It's clean, comfortable and reasonably modern. Everything works.

The back garden is enclosed. There's a patio area with a table and chairs, and a BBQ you can use. It's not a huge garden, but it's private. You can park one car on the driveway.

What the name doesn't really say is that you're only about a five minute walk from the beach and the promenade. But out the back, the garden fence borders the Hastings Country Park Nature Reserve, so you get trees right up to the edge. It's quiet.

Hastings town centre is a drive or a decent walk along the coast. St Leonards is closer for shops and cafes. The Hastings Country Park is right there for walks. It's cliff-top paths and woods. You can walk for miles.

Further afield, Battle Abbey is about twenty minutes by car. Bexhill-on-Sea and the De La Warr Pavilion are about fifteen minutes. Eastbourne and Beachy Head are roughly half an hour's drive.

Inside, it has WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.

You can bring up to two dogs. Please just keep them off the furniture.
