No 14 - Saddle Tedsmore

This is number 14, Saddle. It's one of the converted barns on the Tedsmore Hall Estate near West Felton in Shropshire. The barns are set around a big courtyard with fountains. You look out over that and the gardens from the front.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms upstairs: one super king with its own shower room, a king room, and a twin room. There's a separate family bathroom up there as well. Downstairs is open plan: kitchen, dining area, and living room with a smart TV. It's all underfloor heated.

You get your own private garden out the back with a table and chairs. There's a shared games barn on the estate with a pool table and table tennis. You're welcome to walk around the estate grounds.

The rating is 5 Star. It's a well-finished place. Everything's included: bedding, towels, wifi. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking right outside.

Local things: Oswestry is the nearest town, about ten minutes by car. Shrewsbury is roughly half an hour away. They've got the Quarry Park, the theatre by the river, and an independent cinema in the old market hall.

For days out, the British Ironwork Centre is close. There's golf at Oswestry and Llanymynech. If you like history, Powis Castle is a National Trust property about 25 minutes away, and Old Oswestry Hill Fort is even nearer.
