This is No 2, Chepstow. It's one of the converted stable blocks on the Tedsmore Hall Estate near West Felton in Shropshire. It's part of a group of ten around a big courtyard.
It sleeps eight in four bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, which helps with a group that size. One bedroom is on the ground floor, with its own shower room. Upstairs has two more king rooms and a twin room. The stairs are fine.
It's a 5 Star place, so it's well kitted out. Underfloor heating, a dishwasher, washing machine, that sort of thing. The wi-fi is decent. Outside, there's a patio with a table and chairs.
Being part of the estate means you can use the shared games room with a pool table and the indoor recreation space. You're free to walk around the grounds, which are large.
The location is quiet, but Oswestry is a short drive for shops and things. Shrewsbury is good for a day out, about a 25 minute drive. It's got the Quarry Park by the river and a theatre.
For local history, Powis Castle is impressive and is about 30 minutes away. English Heritage looks after Old Oswestry Hill Fort, which is closer. The British Ironwork Centre is just up the road.
It says wheelchair accessible and has a stairgate and cot. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking right there.
If you've got a big group, you can book more than one of the stables together.
