Canal Central
Canal Central is in Maesbury Marsh. It's right on the Montgomery Canal. You're on the first floor, so you look out over the water.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and has what you need, but it's not luxury. Everything's open plan downstairs.
You can walk straight out onto the canal towpath. There's a tea room on site, and a pub about a quarter of a mile away. They do hire out canoes here, and they do horse-drawn narrowboat trips in the season. Oswestry is two miles away for shops.
If you want to go out, you're in a good spot for it. Oswestry's close. Shrewsbury is about half an hour's drive, it's got the river and some good places to eat. Chester is also within half an hour for the city walls. Llangollen is the same sort of distance too, for the steam railway.
There are a few National Trust places nearby if that's your thing. Powis Castle, Chirk Castle, Erddig, and Attingham Park are all within about thirty minutes.
For the facilities: the parking is on site. There's WiFi and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
