Bumble Lodge is here on our smallholding in Crickheath. It's a detached lodge, so you're on your own. The garden is enclosed and private.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's all on the ground floor and the entrance is wheelchair accessible. There’s underfloor heating and a woodburning stove for cooler nights.
We're about a mile from the nearest pub. Oswestry is four miles away for shops, supermarkets, and more places to eat. It's a decent market town.
The Montgomery Canal is right by the village. You can hire Canadian canoes from a place nearby, or take a horse-drawn boat trip. Good for a gentle afternoon.
For a bigger day out, Chester and Shrewsbury are both under an hour’s drive. Snowdonia is about the same, maybe a bit more depending on traffic. You can get to the southern edges of the park in half an hour.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, WiFi, a TV, and a BBQ. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside. No pets, I'm afraid.
