Bumble Lodge

Bumble Lodge is here in Crickheath. It's on our smallholding, but it's separate. Detached lodge. You've got your own space.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both downstairs. One bathroom, also on the ground floor. The whole place is wheelchair accessible, which is good to know. It's got a 5 Star rating, so it's well kitted out and comfortable.

The wood burning stove works well. There's a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can park right outside.

Outside, there's an enclosed garden and patio. We've left a BBQ out there you can use.

The local pub is about a mile away. For shops and more places to eat, you'd go into Oswestry. That's about four miles.

If you like walking, you're right by the Montgomery Canal. You can hire Canadian canoes there, or go on a horse-drawn boat trip. It's very quiet.

For a day out, Shrewsbury is about 40 minutes' drive. Chester is under an hour. You can get into Wales easily from here. The Snowdonia National Park website is useful if you're heading that way.
