Hares Hollow
Hares Hollow is near Llanymynech. It's right on the Welsh border. The place is actually a barn conversion, but it's been done up well. It sleeps eight, in four bedrooms, and has three bathrooms. That makes it easier when there's a few of you.
The barn is part of a small group of conversions. Each one has its own private hot tub in the garden. That's a big part of the appeal, I suppose. The garden itself is enclosed and there's a barbecue.
Inside, there are wooden floors, a wood burner for colder nights, and the usual things like a dishwasher and washing machine. It's got a 5 Star rating, so everything is in good order. The WiFi works.
Location is the main thing here. You're in Shropshire, but Wales is literally over the road. Offa's Dyke Path runs very close by if you're a walker. For a day out, Llangollen is about 20 minutes away. They've got a steam railway and the canal there. Shrewsbury is a very nice town, about half an hour's drive. Chester is the same distance but the other way.
Oswestry and Welshpool are your nearest market towns, about 15 minutes. They've got shops and supermarkets. The local golf course is just up the road.
We allow one well-behaved dog. All bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.
