Crabapple Cottage
Crabapple Cottage is our converted barn. It's on our land, but it's separate. You get your own space. It's up on a bit of a slope, so the view from the back looks out over the valley.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, and each one has its own bathroom with a shower. That's handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and we keep it clean.
You're just outside Treflach village, about half a mile. There's a pub that does food a mile down the road. The nearest shop for basics is two miles away in Llanrhaeadr.
The back of the cottage faces south. There's a patio there that gets the sun. You've also got a large area of grass to use.
The walking is good right from the door. Offa's Dyke runs nearby. Llanrhaeadr waterfall is about three miles away and it's worth seeing. You can drive to Chirk Castle or Powis Castle in under half an hour. Lake Vyrnwy is about 40 minutes for a walk round the water. If you want to go into Wales, Bala Lake is 45 minutes for sailing, and Snowdonia is just over an hour.
Inside, there's a woodburning stove for cooler nights. We provide the wood. You've got a dishwasher, a washing machine, TV, and wifi. All the bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.
We take up to two dogs. There's an extra charge for that.
