Rhydleos Mill is just outside the village of Llansilin in Powys. It's an old water mill that's been turned into a house. The stream that used to power it runs along the edge of the garden.
It sleeps six, but it's got five bedrooms and two bathrooms, so there's a bit of space to spread out. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, with things like a wood burner, but it's not super modern. It's full of character from its old use. You'll see the original features.
It's very quiet out here. You're looking out over fields. Good if you want to switch off. There's a pub that does food about a mile and a half away. The nearest shop is six miles, so you'll want to come prepared.
The location is good for getting to different places. You're right near the English border. Oswestry is about a 15-minute drive for supermarkets. Chirk Castle is close by. Llangollen is about 20 minutes away, that's where you get the steam railway and the canal. Chester is under an hour's drive if you fancy a day out in the city.
If you like walking, the Berwyn Mountains are on the doorstep. The Llanrhaeadr Waterfall is a 15-minute drive. It's impressive.
For facilities, it's got what you'd expect. WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. There's parking right there. You can bring up to two dogs. We include the bedding and towels.
