Yr Hen Feudy At Pentre Farm
Yr Hen Feudy is up at Pentre Farm, near Moelfre in Powys. It's a new build, but designed to look like part of the old farm. It's detached, and because it's built into a hillside, you get good views across the fields.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is useful with a group. One bedroom with twin beds is on the ground floor, the other two are upstairs. The stairs are fine.
The main living space is open plan, with the kitchen leading into a dining area and then the sitting room. There's underfloor heating throughout. The big windows at the front look straight out over the hills. There's a log burner for cooler evenings.
Outside, it's all enclosed. There's a paved patio with outdoor furniture, and a bit of a garden. You can park right outside and there's an electric vehicle charger.
The location is rural. It's at the end of a gated lane, so it's very quiet. The village of Llansilin is about a half hour walk away, and has a pub that serves food.
For things to do, walking or cycling starts from the door. By car, Pistyll Rhaeadr waterfall is about twenty minutes away. Places like Powis Castle, Chirk Castle, and the town of Llangollen are all within a half hour drive. National Trust Wales and Visit Wales have good information for planning trips. Chester is about an hour away if you want a city day.
Facilities: It's got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. Sorry, no pets.
