Tan Y Llidiart

Tan Y Llidiart is in Bwlchyddar, near Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant. It's a detached cottage we did up a few years ago. The main thing is the view. You look out across farmland and down the valley. It's very quiet.

It sleeps four. Three bedrooms upstairs, one double and two singles. One bathroom with a shower. There's a driveway and a covered car port.

Downstairs, there's a kitchen with a table, a living room with a wood burner and a Smart TV, and a small snug room. There's also a separate toilet. The stairs are normal, not a spiral or anything.

Outside, there's a big decked area with furniture. The garden is enclosed. You get the whole place to yourselves.

It's good for walking. Offa's Dyke path is close by. Lake Vyrnwy and the Berwyn mountains are about a 15-minute drive. For a day out, Snowdonia is under an hour away.

The nearest sizeable towns are Oswestry and Welshpool, about 20 minutes by car. Shrewsbury is around 40 minutes. Chester is just under an hour.

For facilities, it's all there: washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, parking. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. No pets, sorry.

If you're planning walks or trips, these sites are useful: Offa's Dyke Association, Snowdonia National Park, and the National Trust page for Lake Vyrnwy.
