Tan Y Lliddiart is our place near Bwichyddar. It's a detached stone cottage, so you're on your own up there. It looks out over farmland and down the valley. The view is the main thing.
It sleeps four. There are three bedrooms upstairs: one double and two singles. One shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. We refurbished it in 2021, so it's in good order but it's not a show home. It's comfortable.
Downstairs, there's a kitchen with a table, a living room with a wood burner and a Smart TV, and a small snug room. There's also a separate toilet. The stairs are typical for a cottage, so they're a bit steep.
Outside, there's a big decked area with furniture. The garden is enclosed. You get the sun in the evening out there. There's parking on the drive under a carport, and space to store bikes.
It's very much a walking area. Offa's Dyke Path is close by. Lake Vyrnwy and the Berwyn mountains are about a 30 minute drive. For towns, Welshpool and Oswestry are nearby. Shrewsbury is a bit further but has a lot to see. Chester and Snowdonia are both under an hour's drive if you want a day out.
For facilities: it has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a wood burner. We provide bedding and towels. A cot, highchair and stairgate are there if you need them. No pets, sorry.
