Oak Barn Cottage is in Pentre cefn, Shropshire. It's what they call a barn conversion, mid-terrace in a little courtyard. It's from the 1700s, stone-built. The view looks out over the Tanat Valley and you can see Offa's Dyke Path from there.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, and both have their own bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable.
You share the main garden area and there's about 20 acres of land around the place to wander. It's very quiet. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you have kids or a dog, but we don't take pets sorry.
The nearest shop and a pub that does food are about two miles away in the village. Oswestry is four miles for bigger supermarkets. It's a proper rural spot.
For things to do, you're right by the Offa's Dyke Path if you like walking. Lake Vyrnwy and Bala Lake are within half an hour's drive. Shrewsbury is about twenty miles, Chester is thirty. There are some grand houses nearby too, like Erddig, Chirk Castle and Powis Castle.
What's here: there's a washing machine, a cot if you need one, all the bedding and towels are included. There's a TV and WiFi. Parking is right outside. There's bike storage if you bring them.
