Oak Barn Cottage
Oak Barn Cottage is in Pentre Cefn in Shropshire. It's an old stone barn that's been converted, one of a few around a courtyard. The views from here are over the Tanat Valley, which is green and quiet. Offa's Dyke runs past not far away.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, and each has its own bathroom, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after. Being an old building, the ceilings are low in some places and the doors are a bit small. You get used to it.
The place feels quite remote, but Oswestry is only about four miles away for supermarkets and things. There's a shop and a pub about two miles down the road. The pub does meals.
You've got access to a shared garden and about twenty acres of land to wander around. It's good for just sitting outside. There's parking right by the cottage.
For days out, Lake Vyrnwy is about half an hour's drive. It's a nice spot for a walk or some fishing. Lake Bala is in Wales, also around thirty minutes. If you like castles, Chirk Castle and Powis Castle are both within easy reach. Chirk Castle and Powis Castle have their details online. Shrewsbury is about twenty miles, Chester is about thirty.
What's here: there's a washing machine, Wi-Fi, a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need one. The garden is enclosed. Sorry, no pets.
