Pentre Cwm Bach
Pentre Cwm Bach is an old stone cottage just outside Llansilin. It's detached and you've got the whole place to yourselves. There's a pretty big garden, which looks out over fields and hills.
It's for two people. One bedroom with a kingsize bed, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is good. It's comfortable.
A couple of things to know. The stairs up to the bedroom are narrow. They're fine, but just be aware. Then, once you're upstairs, there are five steps from the bedroom into the en-suite bathroom.
Downstairs, the kitchen has bi-fold doors that open right onto the patio. It's a nice spot for a coffee in the morning. There's a Smart TV and WiFi works.
The place is really quiet. You'll see a lot of birds. There's a local pub about a mile away in the village, good for a pint.
You're well placed for getting out. The Llangollen steam railway is about 20 minutes away. The Powis Castle gardens are stunning and a similar drive. Erddig is another National Trust house nearby. Chester is less than an hour if you fancy the city and the Roman walls.
For walking, you've got Lake Vyrnwy and the Berwyn mountains right there. The Llanrhaeadr Waterfall is about a quarter of an hour's drive.
Facilities: there's parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a washing machine.
