Garth Ucha is in Llanyblodwel. It's a detached house next to a working farm. Parts of it are very old, medieval old, so there are low beams and doorways in those bits. Watch your head.
It sleeps fourteen people. Seven bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place. It's big and comfortable, not posh.
The layout works for a group. The kitchen is large so you can cook for everyone. There's a big dining table that seats everyone together. Then there are two sitting rooms, plus a games room with a pool table and a football table. The garden has a patio and a paddock area, and there's a hot tub.
You're out in the country. The nearest pub is about two and a half miles away. Oswestry is the closest town for shops and supermarkets, that's a short drive. You need a car here.
For walking, you're right near the Welsh border and the Berwyn mountains. There are lots of trails straight from the door. If you want to explore further, the National Trust in Wales and Shropshire Hills websites have good information. Ellesmere and its meres are about twenty minutes north.
Facilities: it's got everything you'd expect for a big group. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, wood burner. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Sorry, no pets.
