Cynynion Uchaf
Cynynion Uchaf is a farmhouse in Rhydycroesau, near Oswestry. It's detached, in its own garden. You look out over fields.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. The floors are original brick in places, which is nice but can be uneven. The stairs are steep. That's just how old houses are.
It's on a working farm, so you'll see animals around. The owners live nearby and are friendly if you need anything. The garden is enclosed.
Inside, there's a woodburner in the main living room and a smaller snug with an electric fire. There's a conservatory too. You get a dishwasher, washing machine, Wi-Fi, and parking right outside. We can provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate.
You can bring one dog. The garden is secure.
For walking, you can start right from the gate. Oswestry Old Racecourse is a common nearby. Chirk Castle, Erddig, and Attingham Park are all about a 30 minute drive. So is the Powis Castle garden.
Further on, you can get to Lake Vyrnwy or the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct in under an hour. Chester is about 45 minutes by car if you want a city day.
There's a local pub in the village. Oswestry is four miles away for shops and more places to eat.
