The Wain House

The Wain House is in Weston Rhyn, on the Shropshire border. It's at the end of a private road, so it's quiet. You look out over fields.

It sleeps twelve, which is why there are six bedrooms. Four bathrooms, which helps with a group that size. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.

Being detached, you've got the place to yourselves. The garden has a patio and a barbecue. There's parking on site.

The access is level at the front for wheelchairs, and there's a shower and a bedroom on the ground floor. The stairs inside are fine, nothing unusual.

Facilities wise, it's got what you'd need: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine, that sort of thing. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair.

There's a shop, a pub, and a restaurant about half a mile away.

For days out, you're right on the border. Offa's Dyke is on the doorstep for walking. The aqueducts at Chirk and Froncysyllte are impressive, and they're close. Oswestry Hill Fort is nearby for the views.

Llangollen is about a twenty-minute drive. They've got the steam railway and the river for white water. Pistyll Rhaeadr waterfall is about half an hour away, good for a walk.

Chester is maybe forty minutes. The zoo is good, and the city centre is worth a visit. Shrewsbury is about the same distance the other way.

A bit further, but within an hour, you've got Snowdonia and the North Wales coast.
