Y Stabl is on our farm in Froncysyllte. It's one of four converted barns here. You get your own garden with it, and a hot tub. It's on a working farm with sheep and cattle, so you'll see us going about.
The place sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms, which is handy. It has a 5 Star rating which, honestly, just means it's well done and comfortable. The walls between the cottages are solid, but you might hear a door close next door sometimes. It's not silent.
There's a pub about a mile away in the village. The nearest shop for basics is two miles away in Trefor.
You're right by the Llangollen Canal. You can walk along the towpath into Llangollen, which is about three miles. The Pontcysyllte Aqueduct is famous and it's right there. You can get narrowboat trips across it. Llangollen itself has shops, places to eat, and you can get a steam train on the heritage railway.
If you want to go out for the day, Chirk Castle is about ten minutes drive. It's a National Trust property. Wrexham is 15 minutes away for bigger supermarkets and the football stadium. The A5 is close by, so getting into Snowdonia is straightforward. It's about a 40 minute drive to the edge of the national park for walking.
For facilities: it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a highchair. No pets, sorry.
