Llantysilio Lodge is near Llangollen, in Berwyn. It's detached, and it was the original lodge for the hall. There are gardens at the side and back, with a patio at the rear.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place. The living room has an electric wood burner you control with a remote.
The stairs are fine, but they are original, so they're a bit steeper than modern ones.
There's a pub about a mile away. Shops and restaurants are in Llangollen, which is two miles. It's got the usual takeaways and things.
You're close to a lot of the main sights here. The Pontcysyllte Aqueduct is a ten minute drive. It's a World Heritage site. You can walk across it or take a barge trip. The Horseshoe Falls are nearby too for walks. The Llangollen Railway runs steam trains up the Dee Valley.
If you want activities, there's white water rafting, a mountain bike centre, fishing, and plenty of walking. The Berwyn hills are right there.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, a cot, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. There's a ground floor wet room with a walk-in shower.
