Ty Felin

Ty Felin is a cottage on our farm in Froncysyllte. It's one of four we've converted from old barns. You're right by the Llangollen canal here.

It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard. The garden is enclosed and private. There's a hot tub.

It's a working farm with sheep and cattle, so you'll see us about. The road to the cottage is a farm track. It's fine for normal cars, just take it steady.

The local pub is about a mile away in the village. The nearest shop is two miles, in Trevor or Llangollen.

You're well placed here. Llangollen is a ten minute drive. They've got the steam railway and you can get horse-drawn boat trips on the canal. The Pontcysyllte Aqueduct is just down the road. You can walk across it or take a narrowboat trip. It's high.

For walking, the ruins of Castell Dinas Bran are above Llangollen. The views are worth the climb. Chirk Castle is about fifteen minutes by car. Wrexham is twenty minutes. Chester is under an hour. Snowdonia is about a forty-five minute drive, depending on traffic.

Facilities: it's all on one level so there are no steps inside. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside. No pets.
