The Saddlery
The Saddlery is in Penycoe. It's an old coach house we converted. It's down a private track, so you're not on a road.
It sleeps two, one bedroom, one bathroom. The bathroom is a wet room on the ground floor. There's a shower seat if that's useful. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable.
You get your own garden. It's got a patio with a table and chairs, and a BBQ. It's private, and it backs onto an orchard. You can walk into it.
Inside, it's stone walls and wooden beams from the old building. There's a woodburning stove for cooler nights. We leave wood for you.
The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.
There's a pub about a mile away in the village. Same for the shop. For a bigger shop, you'd go to Wrexham.
It's a good spot for getting out. Llangollen is about 15 minutes by car. You can get the steam train there, or go on the canal boats. Chirk Castle and Erddig are both very close. You can be walking in the Clwydian Range in 15 minutes.
Chester is about 40 minutes drive if you want a day in England. The coast, like Rhyl, is under half an hour.
