The Saddlery
The Saddlery is an old coach house. It’s a bit over two hundred years old. It’s just for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating, which is good. It’s clean and comfortable.
You get here down your own driveway through the trees. It looks out over fields. There's a private garden attached. It leads on to an orchard you can use.
Inside, it’s a conversion. You can still see a lot of the old stonework and timber. There’s a woodburning stove. The bathroom is a wet room on the ground floor. It has a seat in the shower.
There’s a pub and a shop about a mile away in the village. The local leisure centre is about the same distance, if you fancy a swim.
For things to do, Llangollen is about a ten minute drive. They’ve got the steam railway there. Erddig Hall and Chirk Castle are both within about twenty minutes. Chester is maybe forty minutes by car, Shrewsbury is about the same.
It’s a good spot if you like walking or cycling. There’s storage here for bikes.
Facilities: there’s parking right outside. WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
