Godre'r Coed

This place is Godre'r Coed. It's a bungalow near Trevor, right on the edge of Llangollen. It's detached, so no one is sharing any walls with you. The garden has a big, gated patio with seating, but just to be clear, it's not fully enclosed all the way around.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, which is handy. It's all on one level, so no stairs at all. It has a 5 Star rating, which basically means it's been checked and it's in good order.

You're just a short walk from the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. It's a proper feat of engineering. You can walk across it on the towpath if you've got a head for heights. There's a pub nearby, the Telford Inn, which is about a five minute walk.

Llangollen is about three miles away by car. Good for shops and a few places to eat. The steam railway is there, and you can get canal boat trips from the wharf. The Dee is good for fishing if that's your thing.

If you're walking, you've got Offa's Dyke Path right there. For cycling, the trails at Llandegla Forest are about a 15 minute drive. There's a golf course very close by too.

Inside, it's got a kitchen that's been done out well. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. The living room has a piano, which is there if you want it. The bedrooms have feather duvets and pillows. We provide the bedding and towels.

You can bring up to two dogs. There's on site parking. We also have a cot and a highchair if you need them.

Useful links for planning: Wales Coast Path and the National Trust in Wales. For the aqueduct and canal, Canal & River Trust has the details.
