Cor Tarw is in Froncysyllte. It's a converted farm building on our working sheep and cattle farm. We live nearby. The property is one of four cottages here, so it's good for large groups. You can book them together if you need to.
It sleeps twelve. Six bedrooms, five bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable.
You've got your own enclosed garden. There's a hot tub. It's a rural spot, next to the Llangollen Canal. You'll see farm traffic sometimes.
The local pub is about a mile away. The nearest shop is two miles.
You're right next to the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. You can walk to it. For a trip, you can get a narrowboat across it from Llangollen. Llangollen is a ten minute drive. They have shops, restaurants, and horse-drawn boat trips on the canal.
There's a lot to do nearby if you want it. White water rafting, mountain biking, walking. The ruins of Dinas Bran Castle are above Llangollen. The walk up is steep but the views are worth it.
Chirk Castle, which is National Trust, is about fifteen minutes by car. Wrexham is twenty minutes. Chester is about forty minutes. Snowdonia is under an hour's drive for mountains. If you're coming by train, there are stations in Chirk, Ruabon, and Wrexham.
Facilities: everything's included. Washing machine, dishwasher, bedding, towels, WiFi. There's parking. The entrance is wheelchair accessible. We don't allow pets.
