Cor Tarw

Cor Tarw is in Froncysyllte, North Wales. It's on our working sheep and cattle farm, right by the Llangollen Canal. You're renting one of four cottages that used to be farm buildings. They've been done up to be modern and spacious. It sleeps twelve, over six bedrooms, and there are five bathrooms. It’s got a 5 Star rating, which means it’s to a high standard.

The cottage has its own enclosed garden and a hot tub. You can book the other cottages next door as well if you’ve got a bigger group.

It’s a rural spot. The local pub is about a mile away, and the nearest shop is two miles.

There’s loads to do around here. You can walk along the canal, or go into Llangollen which is close by. They’ve got shops, places to eat, and you can get horse-drawn boat trips or go on the steam railway. The Pontcysyllte Aqueduct is a big draw, you can walk across it or take a narrowboat.

If you want to go further, the ruins of Dinas Bran Castle are up on the hill above Llangollen. The walk up there is worth it for the view. Chirk Castle is about a 20-minute drive and is National Trust. For bigger days out, Snowdonia, Zip World, and Chester Zoo are all within about an hour's drive.

For facilities, you’ve got a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There’s parking right outside. The entrance is wheelchair accessible and the main living space is all on the ground floor. We don’t allow pets.
