Green Acres Llangollen

Green Acres is our place in Llangollen. It's a detached house, so no neighbours through the walls. The garden is big, about three-quarters of an acre. It gets the sun in the afternoon. There's garden furniture out there and it's fully enclosed.

The house sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms, which is handy. One bedroom has a super king bed and its own shower room. Another has a king bed. The third has two singles. All the bedding is from The White Company. There's a shower room on the ground floor as well, which has grab rails and a seat.

You come in through the side door into the kitchen. It's open plan with a table for six. The living room is through there. It's a good size with a smart TV. The sofas are comfortable. You get a view of the back garden.

You can park three cars on the drive at the front. There's a separate, enclosed bit of garden at the side if you're bringing dogs. We allow up to two.

It's about a five minute walk into Llangollen town centre. There are cafes, pubs, and restaurants there. The famous steam railway is right there, and the canal runs through the town. If you're here for the International Musical Eisteddfod, it's very close.

For things to do, you've got white water rafting and climbing nearby. The Llangollen Railway is worth a trip. Snowdonia National Park is about 50 minutes by car if you want to go up there. For local walks and history, National Trust and Visit Wales have good information.

The facilities are all there. Washing machine, WiFi, cot and highchair if you need them. All the bedding and towels are included. The rating is 5 Star, which means it's well equipped and maintained.
