It's called Ty Godro. It's on our farm in Froncysyllte, near the Llangollen canal. It's a working farm, sheep and cattle. There are three other cottages here, all converted from old farm buildings. This one sleeps eight.
It's got four bedrooms and four bathrooms. One is a wet room on the ground floor. It's all on one level, so it's suitable for a wheelchair. There's parking right outside.
Each cottage has its own enclosed garden. This one has a hot tub in it. Inside, it's open plan, with a dishwasher and washing machine. There's wifi. It's got a 5 Star rating, so it's well equipped and in good condition.
The pub is a mile up the road. The nearest shop is about two miles away in Trevor.
You're right by the canal. There's a path you can walk along into Llangollen. It's about three miles. Llangollen has shops, pubs, and you can get a horse-drawn boat trip from there. The Pontcysyllte Aqueduct is nearby. You can walk across it or take a narrowboat. It's quite something.
If you want to go further, Chirk Castle is about ten minutes by car. It's a National Trust property. The ruins of Dinas Bran are up on the hill above Llangollen. The walk up is steep but the views are worth it.
For bigger days out, Chester is under an hour's drive. Snowdonia is about the same. Wrexham is twenty minutes away.
