Holly Barn Weston Rhyn

Holly Barn is a converted barn near Weston Rhyn in Shropshire. It's detached, so no one's attached to you. You get your own space.

It sleeps eight people in four bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, which helps with a full house. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped, but it's not a show home. It's a place to stay.

The garden is at the back. It's a decent size with a patio. It's a good spot if the weather lets you sit out.

The entrance is wheelchair accessible, and the main living space is on the ground floor. The stairs inside are fine.

There's a pub and a restaurant about half a mile down the lane. The nearest shop is in Oswestry, about five miles away, so you'll want to bring your groceries with you.

Oswestry is the main town nearby. It's got an Iron Age hill fort, Oswestry Old Racecourse, and the usual shops. The Lion Quays Hotel is a couple of miles away if you want a spa day. Henlle Park Golf Club is about the same distance.

You're close to the Welsh border here. Llangollen is about a 20-minute drive. You can go on the canal boats there or see the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. Chirk Castle is about 15 minutes away. The walks around Ellesmere and its lakes are about 20 minutes by car.

For local walks and history, the National Trust sites are useful. The Offa's Dyke Path website is good if you're planning a walk along the dyke.

Inside, you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a travel cot and a highchair if you need them. There's parking right outside.
