This is Station House. It's in Glyndyfrdwy, a small village in North Wales. The original station building from 1865. The steam railway runs right past the garden.
It sleeps six across three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-kept and comfortable. The train line is active, so you'll hear steam trains going by a few times a day. Some people really love that. It’s proper historical, not a theme park.
The garden is enclosed. There's a patio area next to the old platform where you can sit and watch the trains. Inside, there's a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Bedding is included. We allow up to two well-behaved dogs.
There's a pub about half a mile away in the village that does food. The nearest proper shop is in Carrog, about three miles up the road.
For getting around, you're in a good spot. Llangollen is about a ten minute drive. You can walk the canal there, or go over the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. Corwen's the other way, a five minute drive. The Llangollen Railway runs between them.
If you want castles, Chirk Castle is twenty minutes away and Erddig is about half an hour. For bigger hills, the Snowdonia National Park boundary is about a thirty minute drive.

One last thing, the decoration is Christmas themed during the festive season. We put the tree up and some decorations. Just so you know.
