Station House is in Glyndyfrdwy, a quiet village in North Wales. It's a Victorian railway station right next to the Llangollen Railway steam train line. You can see the trains go by from the garden.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. The place is decorated in a railway theme, and they put Christmas decorations up in December if you're booking then.
There's a pub and restaurant about half a mile away. The nearest shop is in Corwen, about three miles. The steam railway runs to Llangollen one way and Corwen the other. You can get a ticket and use it like a bus service.
For walking, you're right on the edge of the Dee Valley. The canal path to Llangollen is nearby. The Pontcysyllte Aqueduct is about a 15 minute drive. It's a World Heritage Site and it's quite something to walk across.
You're about 30 minutes from the edge of Snowdonia National Park for bigger walks. Chirk Castle and Erddig are both National Trust properties within a 20 minute drive if the weather turns.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, and a wood burner. The garden is enclosed. Bicycle storage is available. Parking is on site. You can bring up to two dogs.
