Siambr Wen is a pod on a working sheep farm in Llanelidan. It’s detached and sits quite high up, so the views over the fields are good.
It says it sleeps four. There’s one main room with a double bed, and a separate small bunk room. That’s really best for kids. One bathroom with a walk-in shower. It’s got a 4 Star rating. Everything’s on one level so it’s accessible if you need that. The track up to it is rough, just so you know.
It’s open plan inside. Kitchen’s fine for making breakfast. There’s a patio outside with a BBQ and a private hot tub. You’re on a farm, so you’ll see sheep.
You’re quite remote here. Ruthin and Denbigh are the nearest proper towns, about a 15 minute drive. They’ve got shops and cafes. For a day out, the Chirk Castle is National Trust, or the Llangollen railway is popular.
If you want mountains, Snowdonia is about a 40 minute drive west. For the coast and beaches, like Rhyl, it’s about an hour north.
Facilities: bedding and towels are included, there’s parking, a TV, and it says you can bring up to two dogs. There’s local fishing and horse riding you can book.
