Siambr Wen
This is Siambr Wen. It’s one of four pods up here on our farm in Llanelidan. It’s detached. You’re on your own, just you and the fields.
It sleeps four in one room. There’s a double bed in the main space and a bunk bed in a small separate area. It’s one open-plan room really, plus that bunk nook. It has a proper walk-in shower and toilet. It’s got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and modern, but it is a pod on a farm, not a cottage. Think comfortable glamping.
You have your own patio with a hot tub and a barbecue. The view is across our sheep fields to the hills. It’s quiet. You access the site via a farm track, so it's a bit bumpy.
The kitchen has what you need: hob, fridge, microwave. We include all bedding and towels. It’s all electric and the heating works well. For a big shop, Ruthin or Denbigh are about 15-20 minutes by car. The Rhug Estate farm shop is close by if you want local meat and things.
You’re in the middle of things here. Snowdonia is about 40 minutes’ drive west. Llanberis and Snowdon are that way. The North Wales coast, like Rhyl or Prestatyn, is about 40 minutes north.
Closer by, Ruthin has its market and the Ruthin Gaol. Denbigh has its castle. Llangollen and its steam railway are within half an hour. Bala Lake is about 20 miles south for sailing or a walk.
You can bring up to two dogs. There’s parking right by the pod.
