The Barn is in Gwyddelwern, near Corwen. It's a stone barn we converted, next to our house. The main thing is the view from the living room and the patio. You look right out over the village and the fields.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-finished. It's not huge, but it's solid.
You can walk from the door. There's a patio with a table and chairs, and parking.
The local pub is about two and a half miles away. The nearest shop is in Corwen, three miles. For a really good farm shop, Rhug Estate is close. They have a bistro too.
Corwen is a small town. You can get the steam train from there to Llangollen. Llangollen has the canal and the Eisteddfod in summer. Ruthin is the other way, maybe a fifteen minute drive. It's a nice old town with a castle and a gaol you can visit.
You're well placed for Snowdonia. Betws-y-Coed is about forty minutes by car. Chester is roughly an hour if you fancy a day in the city.
Inside, it's got a woodburning stove, wifi, a TV, a dishwasher and a washing machine. We include bedding and towels. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring two dogs.
If you want to book with another couple, we have The Shippon next door. Together they sleep six.
