Llwyn Bettws Gwerfil Goch

Llwyn is our house in Bettws Gwerfil Goch. It's detached, up a hill on the side of a lane. The views from the front are over fields towards the Berwyns. You can see a fair way.

It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms upstairs: one king, two doubles, and a twin. There are two bathrooms. One is downstairs with a shower, the other upstairs has a bath and a separate walk-in shower. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.

Downstairs, there's a living room with a wood burner and big windows for the view. The kitchen and dining area are open plan. There's a utility room with a sink and space for boots, which is useful. There's also a separate games room with a pool table and a dartboard.

Outside, there's a patio with garden furniture and a BBQ. You have your own garden. The parking is on site, right next to the house.

You should know it's next to a working farm. You'll see and hear farm activity sometimes. The lane is quiet but it's a proper country lane. The WiFi is there but it's satellite, so it's fine for browsing but not for streaming films.

The local pub that does food is about two miles away in Llandrillo. There's a very good farm shop nearby too, about a mile and a half, with a cafe.

Corwen is ten minutes by car for basic shops. Bala is about fifteen minutes, which is where the lake is. If you're into walking or cycling, you're right on the edge of the Berwyns. For a day out, Llangollen is about twenty minutes drive. The coast, like Rhyl or Prestatyn, is just over an hour.

Practical stuff: Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair. We accept up to two dogs. The washing machine and dishwasher are there for you to use.
