Tyddyn Eli
Tyddyn Eli is on our farm just outside Llangwm village. It's a detached old farmhouse. You get the whole place and garden to yourselves.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. The stairs are fairly steep, as it's an old building.
There are two living rooms. One has a wood burner. The other is handy if some of your group want to watch something different on TV. The kitchen has what you need. There's a hot tub in the courtyard outside.
You can walk from the door straight into the hills. The farm is working, so you'll see sheep and sometimes cattle in the fields.
The nearest shop and pub is about three miles away in Llangwm. For a bigger shop and places to eat, Corwen is about a 15 minute drive. The Rhug Estate farm shop is about 10 minutes away. They have a good bistro.
Bala is about 20 minutes by car. The lake there is big for sailing or a walk around. Betws-y-Coed is about 25 minutes west. It's busy with walkers and has outdoor shops. Snowdon is about 40 minutes drive. You can get the train up from Llanberis.
For days out, Corwen has the Llangollen Railway steam trains. The Pontcysyllte Aqueduct is about half an hour's drive east.
Facilities: parking for a few cars, enclosed garden, WiFi, TV, washing machine, cot and highchair available. You can bring up to two dogs.
