The Barn

The Barn is in Sarnau, near Corwen. It's a stone barn conversion. Detached, so it's just you. The main thing is the view. It looks out over the valley. It's very quiet.

It's for two people. One bedroom upstairs with a kingsize bed. There are two bathrooms, which is handy. One's a walk-in shower room on the ground floor. The stairs are a typical barn conversion staircase, so they're a bit open. Mind your head on the beams upstairs.

Everything's open-plan downstairs. Kitchen, sofa, dining table. It's got a dishwasher, Sky TV on the wall, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.

Outside, there's a patio area and a private hot tub. The view from there is the same, just more relaxed.

It's a proper rural spot. You'll need a car. The lane is a farm track, so it's a bit bumpy. Wellies are a good idea if you're walking from the door.

Rhug Farm Shop is about five minutes drive. They've got a good shop and a bistro. Corwen is close for basics. You can get the steam train from there down to Llangollen. Bala Lake is about fifteen minutes away for a walk or watersports.

For walking, you're right on the edge of Snowdonia. Betws-y-Coed is maybe forty minutes. Chester is about an hour if you fancy a day trip to the city.
